IMatch 3.5 Upgrade Information

The new IMatch 3.5 product contains over 50 new features and enhancements for both amateur and professional users. Please see the IMatch 3.5 release notes for complete information about all the new things that have been packed into this release.

How to Upgrade Your License

The special discount upgrade period for IMatch 3.5 has finally expired on November 25., 2006.

The discounted upgrade was available to all IMatch users since February 2006.
If you have missed that special upgrade, don't worry. Just purchase a new license and start working with the latest generation of IMatch today. Please follow this link for more information and online purchase.

Why Upgrade?

This is the first fee-based update for IMatch since 2001. Since then I have released over 20 updates and service packs, constantly improving IMatch. All these updates and service packs were free for all registered customers.

The new 3.5 release is a big step forward, incorporating over 50 new features and enhancements. Many of the features requested by you (or expected for the next generation of IMatch) have been added. More will follow with the regular service packs for the 3.5 release over the coming weeks and months.

Some Highlights of the 3.5 Release

Support for virtually all current RAW formats. Better white balance and color rendition for all RAW and DNG variants. Dynamic thumbnail size for your database. Thumbnails can be zoomed freely, up to the maximum size defined. Adobe™ XMP© metadata integration. Single File Relocation. You now can relocate individual files in addition to whole folders. Much easier to work with archiving software which supports disk spanning. New layout engine with much more control over which information is displayed in the IMatch front-end. This layout engine is also available in the Contact Sheet Builder and the Slide Show. Category Builder and @Interactive categories. Combine categories easily via drag and drop. Data-driven categories to group images automatically based on XMP, IPTC and EXIF data. Film Strip window and other Slide Show enhancements. Drive Nodes to manage media and folders per drive in the Database View. View Filters to show/hide images based on specific criteria. Better support for non-image formats like Video and Audio files.

Read it and you'll know that the 3.5 release It is well worth the small upgrade fee!   The 3.4 Version Until you upgrade you can download the 3.4 IMatch release (including the evaluation version and the latest licensed version) from the download page as usual. I will also keep up the email support for some time for this version. Please understand that no modifications will be made to the 3.4 version anymore.
